Having received the Judges’ Commendation in the Custom Built Homes more than $1,000,000 Category for an amazing Art Deco period home in Deakin, QBS director and licenced builder Brad Freer said that he was humbled and overwhelmed by gratitude..

The project featured curved elliptical arch windows, formed concrete curved staircase, large formed concrete terraces, and an extensive use of structural steel throughout which required outstanding construction, intricate attention to detail and quality workmanship from QBS, and captured the essence of a period home meeting the brief of delivering a home that “looked like it was 100 years old”.
